Barn Sprite #3

This Sprite now has a new battery and cables, head gasket, a couple brake lines, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hood emblem, radiator hoses, water pump, thermostat, fan belt, radiator cap, front right turn signal assembly, two new ignition switch keys, choke cable, tach cable and gear drive, distributor cap and rotor, ignition wires, ignition coil, air cleaners, voltage regulator and starter. I have also rebuilt the original SU H1 carburetors and the generator.

The seats and carpet look new and unused. This is a project car and although it has a fresh oil change, runs and drives, and can technically be driven, it will need more sorting before being driven. Turn signals and speedometer are not working and the car needs a new exhaust from the exhaust manifold back. The exhaust parts can be bought here: https://mossmotors.com/spm-014d-exhaust-system-948-1098-10cg-engines

Also included with the car is the last 26 years of unused registrations and insurance cards, and license plates showing that the car has been registered but not on the road during that time.

The title to the car lists the car as a 1962 as it was common for imported cars to be registered under the year they were first sold as it took so long for them to be shipped from overseas and American cars are titled by model year and not when they were built. The car was built in the middle of 1960, the last year for factory assembled Mark I Sprites.
